Biography

Dave Joyce is a Republican U.S. Representative from Ohio's 14th District and pragmatic party leader.

David Patrick Joyce is the U.S. Representative for Ohio's 14th Congressional District, a Republican first elected in 2012 serving his seventh term representing northeast Ohio including Lake, Ashtabula, and Geauga counties. A University of Dayton Law School graduate and former Geauga County prosecutor for over two decades, Joyce represents a pragmatic moderate wing of the Republican Party. He sits on the House Appropriations Committee where he chairs the Subcommittee on Financial Services and General Government, and also chairs the Congressional Cannabis Caucus. A member of the Republican Governance Group, he focuses on balanced budgeting and effective governance.
