U.S. Representative from GA, District 13

David Scott is a Georgia Democrat and senior agriculture voice serving his twelfth House term from Atlanta's southern suburbs since 2003.
David Albert Scott represents Georgia's 13th Congressional District, serving since 2003 and holding his twelfth term representing Atlanta's southern and western suburbs spanning portions of Fulton, Clayton, Cobb, Douglas, and Henry counties. A Florida A&M University graduate and Wharton School alumnus, Scott ran a marketing and advertising firm and served more than two decades in the Georgia General Assembly. In Congress, he is a senior member of the House Agriculture Committee and sits on the House Financial Services Committee, focusing on agriculture, nutrition, rural broadband, federal procurement, and civil rights. Now seventy-nine years old, Scott is facing a competitive 2026 primary reelection challenge from five ambitious opponents questioning his continued effectiveness in serving the district after more than two decades of service.
