Donald Norcross is a Democratic U.S. Representative from New Jersey's 1st District and founder of the Congressional Labor Caucus.
Donald W. Norcross represents New Jersey's 1st Congressional District as a Democrat who won a November 2014 special election and is serving his sixth full term. A longtime electrician and union leader, Norcross spent years as an official with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 351 before his election to the New Jersey State Senate in 2010. He is the brother of influential South Jersey Democratic power broker George Norcross. Norcross serves on the Armed Services and Education and the Workforce committees and founded the Congressional Labor Caucus, focusing on labor rights, apprenticeship programs, and military issues given his district's proximity to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. He was hospitalized in April 2025 with cholangitis and sepsis but recovered.
