Gabe Evans is a Republican U.S. Representative from Colorado's 8th District, an Army helicopter pilot and former police officer first elected in 2024 representing the northern Denver suburbs.

Gabriel Evans is the U.S. Representative for Colorado's 8th Congressional District, a Republican first elected in 2024 serving his first term in a competitive district covering Adams, Weld, and parts of Larimer counties in the northern Denver suburbs. Born to a Mexican American family, Evans served twelve years as a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter pilot in the U.S. Army and Colorado Army National Guard before working as an Arvada police officer for eleven years. He was elected to the Colorado House of Representatives in 2022 prior to his congressional victory. In the 119th Congress, Evans serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the Committee on Homeland Security, with focus on border security, energy policy, and public safety. He narrowly defeated incumbent Democratic Representative Yadira Caraveo in a district with significant Hispanic population.
