Biography

Jake Auchincloss is a 3-term Democratic U.S. Representative from Massachusetts's 4th District and Marine Corps veteran serving on Financial Services and Transportation committees.

Jacob Daniel Auchincloss has represented Massachusetts's 4th Congressional District, covering Brookline, Newton, and southeastern Boston suburbs since 2020. A Harvard graduate with an MIT Sloan MBA, Auchincloss served as a Marine Corps infantry officer in Afghanistan and Panama before transitioning to technology and consumer goods business leadership. He served on the Newton City Council prior to his congressional election. In Congress, he sits on the House Financial Services Committee and Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, where he advances his expertise in national security, technology innovation, transit modernization, and U.S.-Israel relations.
