Julie Fedorchak is a Republican U.S. Representative from North Dakota's at-large district and the first woman elected to the House from North Dakota.
Julie Ann Fedorchak represents North Dakota's at-large congressional district as a Republican elected in 2024, becoming the first woman elected to the House from North Dakota. She served for over a decade on the North Dakota Public Service Commission, including as chair, where she oversaw utility, pipeline, railroad, and grain elevator regulation. Before her regulatory career, she worked as communications director for Governor Ed Schafer. Fedorchak serves on the Energy and Commerce Committee and co-chairs the Congressional Biofuels Caucus. She focuses on energy production, agriculture, grid reliability, biofuels policy, tribal issues affecting North Dakota's five reservations, and rural health programs.
