Maxwell Frost is a Democratic U.S. Representative from Florida's 10th District, the first Gen Z member of Congress and a longtime gun-violence-prevention organizer.
Maxwell Alejandro Frost is the U.S. Representative for Florida's 10th Congressional District, a Democrat first elected in 2022 serving his second term representing a Central Florida district covering much of Orlando and Orange County. Born in 1997 and adopted from a Cuban mother shortly after birth, Frost grew up in Orlando and attended Valencia College. At age fifteen, he committed to fighting gun violence following the Sandy Hook shooting, and he served as national organizing director for March for Our Lives after the 2018 Parkland shooting. He became the first member of Generation Z elected to Congress. In the 119th Congress, Frost serves on the House Oversight and Accountability Committee and the Science, Space, and Technology Committee. His legislative priorities center on gun-violence prevention, affordable housing, climate action, and youth engagement. He has advocated strongly for establishing and maintaining federal initiatives to coordinate gun violence response.
