Nick Langworthy is a Republican representing New York's 23rd District since 2022, the former chair of the New York State Republican Party focusing on rural issues.
Nicholas A. Langworthy, U.S. Representative for New York's 23rd Congressional District, is a Republican first elected in 2022 serving his second term representing western New York's Southern Tier and suburbs including Jamestown, Olean, and Erie County areas outside Buffalo. A Niagara University graduate who served as Erie County Republican chairman and from 2019 to 2022 as chairman of the New York State Republican Party, Langworthy worked to rebuild the party's fortunes in a heavily Democratic state. In the 119th Congress, he serves on the House Agriculture Committee with subcommittee assignments including Commodity Markets and Rural Development, and the Oversight Committee. Co-chair of the Maple Caucus and active member of the Northern Border Security Caucus and Rural Health Caucus, Langworthy focuses on agriculture, energy, and rural economic development.
