Nikki Budzinski is the U.S. Representative for Illinois's 13th Congressional District, serving her second term since 2023. A University of Iowa graduate, she worked as a senior labor organizer and executive for the United Food and Commercial Workers union and served as senior advisor to Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker before becoming chief of staff at the U.S. Office of Management and Budget in the Biden administration. In the 119th Congress, Budzinski serves on the Agriculture Committee (where she holds ranking member status on the Technology Modernization Subcommittee) and the Veterans' Affairs Committee. She prioritizes agriculture and biofuel production, workers' rights, veterans' support, and rural economic development.
