Robert Menendez serves as the U.S. Representative for New Jersey's 8th Congressional District, a densely populated urban district encompassing Hudson County and portions of Essex and Union counties. First elected in 2022 and re-elected in 2024, Menendez is a Harvard and Rutgers Law School graduate who worked as an attorney and port authority commissioner before Congress.
