Stacey Plaskett is the Democratic Delegate to the U.S. House from the U.S. Virgin Islands, serving since 2015.
Stacey E. Plaskett is the nonvoting Delegate to the U.S. House of Representatives from the U.S. Virgin Islands, serving since 2015 and currently in her sixth term following her reelection in November 2024. A graduate of Georgetown University and American University Washington College of Law, Plaskett worked as an assistant district attorney in the Bronx and later served as senior counsel at the U.S. Department of Justice. While her delegate position is nonvoting in the full House, she participates fully in congressional committees. Plaskett has served as ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee's Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government and gained prominence as one of the House impeachment managers during President Trump's second impeachment trial in 2021. Her legislative priorities focus on territorial economic development, disaster recovery and resilience, healthcare access, and advancing the political and economic interests of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
