Tim Moore is a Republican U.S. Representative from North Carolina's 14th District and the former longest-serving Speaker of the North Carolina House.
Timothy Keith Moore represents North Carolina's 14th Congressional District as a Republican elected in 2024. Born October 2, 1970, Moore is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Oklahoma City University School of Law who practiced law in Kings Mountain before winning election to the North Carolina House in 2002. He served as Speaker of the North Carolina House from 2015 to 2024, becoming the longest-serving speaker in state history, overseeing major Republican legislative priorities including the 2023 state redistricting. He serves on the Financial Services and Budget committees and focuses on education, tax policy, conservative governance, and small business development.
