Zachary Nunn is an Iowa Republican, Air Force officer, and swing-district representative serving his second House term from Des Moines.
Zachary Davis Nunn represents Iowa's 3rd Congressional District, serving since 2023 in his second term representing south-central Iowa including Des Moines and Ames. A career U.S. Air Force intelligence and cyber officer who served on the National Security Council staff with deployments supporting Middle East operations, Nunn holds degrees from Drake University and the University of Cambridge and serves in the Iowa Air National Guard. He served in the Iowa House and Iowa Senate before entering Congress. In the 119th Congress, he sits on the House Financial Services and Agriculture committees, focusing on national security, agricultural policy, financial regulation, and rural economic development. In 2025, Nunn raised over 3.5 million dollars for his reelection campaign after initially considering a gubernatorial run. He received endorsements from Donald Trump, Nikki Haley, and Tom Cotton.
