Jamul Indian Village Land Transfer Act

This act takes approximately 172.10 acres of specified lands in San Diego County, California, into trust for the benefit of the Jamul Indian Village of California. Land taken into trust shall be part of the tribe's reservation.

The act requires the Department of the Interior to accept title to, and place into trust for the benefit of the tribe, an additional 1.1 acres of land (upon transfer to the United States by, or on behalf of, the tribe).

The act prohibits gaming on the land taken into trust.

Jamul Indian Village Land Transfer Act

This bill takes approximately 167.23 acres of specified lands in San Diego, California, into trust for the benefit of the Jamul Indian Village of California. Land taken into trust shall be part of the tribe's reservation.

The bill reaffirms the trust status of approximately 4.87 acres of specified lands in San Diego, California. These lands were taken into trust for the benefit of the tribe on July 19, 2024, and August 19, 2024.

The bill requires the Department of the Interior to accept title to, and place into trust for the benefit of the tribe, an additional 1.1 acres of land (upon transfer to the United States by, or on behalf of, the tribe).

The bill prohibits gaming on the land taken into trust.
