A resolution calling for the immediate release of George Glezmann, a United States citizen who was wrongfully detained by the Taliban on December 5, 2022, and condemning the wrongful detention of all Americans by the Taliban.

This resolution calls on the Taliban to immediately release George Glezmann (an American citizen wrongfully detained by the Taliban in Afghanistan since 2022) and all other American citizens and lawful permanent residents wrongfully detained in Afghanistan. The resolution also (1) urges the Taliban to respect George Glezmann's fundamental human rights and provide full, unfettered, and consistent health and welfare visits; and (2) condemns the Taliban’s practice of wrongful detention.
