U.S. Representative from WI, District 6

Glenn Grothman is a Republican U.S. Representative from Wisconsin's 6th District representing east-central Wisconsin.
Glenn S. Grothman was born in Milwaukee in 1955 and earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1978, then a Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1983. He practiced law in estate planning and probate before entering public service. He represented the 58th district in the Wisconsin State Assembly from 1993 to 2005 and the 20th district in the Wisconsin State Senate from 2005 to 2015 before his election to Congress. Now serving his sixth term, Grothman represents east-central Wisconsin including Fond du Lac, Sheboygan, and Oshkosh. He sits on the House Education and the Workforce and Oversight and Accountability committees, where he chairs the Subcommittee on National Security, the Border, and Foreign Affairs. He focuses on fiscal conservatism, welfare reform, and workforce development issues.
