Executive Summary

This bill requires state Medicaid programs to monitor (through their drug utilization review programs) the use of antipsychotic medications by adults, particularly individuals over the age of 65, individuals who receive home- and community-based services, and individuals who are in institutional care settings (e.g., nursing facilities).
