Executive Summary

Armed Conflict Migration Act of 2023

This bill requires the Department of the Treasury to instruct the U.S. Executive Director at each international financial institution to use the voice, vote, and influence of the United States to support the provision of financial assistance to countries that receive an influx of civilian, non-combatant displaced persons as a result of the armed conflict from Hamas' October 2023 attacks in Israel.

The requirement sunsets on the earlier of (1) seven years after the date of enactment, or (2) the date Treasury certifies to specified congressional committees that the requirement is no longer in the national interest or that such influx has ceased.
