Amtrak Executive Bonus Disclosure Act

This bill requires Amtrak to publicly disclose the annual base pay and bonus compensation paid to an Amtrak executive in a required annual report to Congress.

Specifically, Amtrak must incorporate into the annual report the annual base pay and any bonus compensation paid to a member of the executive leadership team. This must include the criteria and metrics used to determine any bonus compensation.

Further, Amtrak must make the annual report available on Amtrak's public website.

Amtrak Executive Bonus Disclosure Act

This bill requires Amtrak to publicly disclose any performance-based bonus compensation paid to an Amtrak executive.

Specifically, at least 30 days before awarding performance-based bonus compensation to an Amtrak executive, Amtrak must brief Congress on (1) the proposed bonus, and (2) the criteria and metrics used to calculate the bonus.

Further, Amtrak must publish in the Federal Register (1) a notice of any bonus compensation awarded to an executive (within 30 days after awarding the bonus), and (2) the criteria and metrics used to calculate the bonus.
