Competency-Based Education Act of 2023
This bill provides statutory authority for regulations related to competency-based education programs that were in effect on July 1, 2021. The Department of Education must comply with these regulations when administering competency-based education programs or determining the eligibility of these programs to receive federal assistance.
The bill also provides definitions for competency-based education and skill.
