Executive Summary

This concurrent resolution affirms that U.S. forces in the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea should take necessary actions to restore deterrence against threats to protect U.S. interests.

The concurrent resolution also states that the President should (1) continue to consult with congressional leaders in advance of authorizing military responses to attacks on U.S. forces and interests, and (2) report to Congress on incidents involving U.S. forces in the region.
