This resolution recognizes that the relationship between the United States and Canada is an essential strategic asset to the United States and U.S. citizens, reaffirms the U.S. commitment to maintain and grow the U.S.-Canada partnership, and fully commits to the creation of more well-paying jobs in the United States through trade and investment with Canada.
