Fresh Produce Procurement Reform Act of 2021

This bill requires the Agricultural Marketing Service of the Department of Agriculture to procure domestically grown, fresh produce for distribution to food banks, schools, tribal organizations, and other qualifying nonprofits that serve individuals at risk of food and nutrition insecurity. The service must procure the produce from growers, packers, distributors, food-hubs, nonprofits, or cooperatives.
